Man Drowned
Wf4.noa-.ei, July 5. The police received a message this rriorning reporting the drowning of a man named William Smith, while crossing the Opokeno river at Parahaki on Saturday. His horse was found on the opposite bank,. saddle and bridle. A later message state! his dead body was found by a Maori on Sunday afternoon.
