WEDDING.

SCOTT— SCHERER. A quiet, but pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Matthew’s Church, Morrinsville, on Tuesday, June 29th., the contracting parties being Mr Herbert John Walmsley Scott, of Ngarua, ; and Louise, eldest daughter of Mr Joseph Scherer, Ngarua (late of Stratford, Taranaki he nuptial knot was tied by thQ/Rev. Cleary, Vicar of Te Art^a/ The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a navy taiior-made costume, white felt hat with long ostrich plumes, and carried a white prayer book. The bridesmaid, Miss Wanda Scherer, sister of the bride, wore a creme dress and navy hat. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr R. H. V. Scott. The newly-married couple left by the mid-day train for Auckland and the Peninsula, where the honeymoon will be spent. Mr and Mrs Scherer entertained a number of friends at their residence “ Riverlea,” on Monday evening.
