Borough Finance.
A special meeting of the Boivugh Council was hel 1 the other evening, when the question cf finance was entered into. The Mayer (R. L. Somers, Esq) presided, and thoie were present Crs. Hubbard, Rowe, Jackson, Johnson, and Howards. The estimated income f>r tbe year ending 31st March, 1910 was set down »b £2601 9s 6d. After discussing the pr- bable estimated expenditure, it was de ided to stake a generel rate of Is (id in the £• A special meeting for this purpose will be held on the 7th July.—Cr. Jackson was appointed treasurer of the Fire Brigade Committee. Owing to pressure of other local matter we are unuble to give the figures of the Estimates in detail#
