Great Naval Review,
Loneox, June 13, A gee ax Naval review at Portsmouth, organised by the Admiralty for the Imperial Press Conference, was witnessed to-day by many thousands of spectators. Fine, but cold weather prevailing. The Lords of the Admiralty accompanied the delegates, and the review lasted an* hour. The fighting ships reviewed exclusively comprised vessels which are always fully manned, always in home waters, always fully stored as for action, and always under war training. The ships anchored in seven lines and occupied eighteen miles of sea room, included : Battle*/*' ships, 24 ; armoured cruisers, 16 ; t cruisers, 8 ; scouts, 4 ; T. B. I)es-> j troyers, 48 ; submarines, 35 ; )

After the review the Lords of the Admiraity and their guests proceeded aboard the Dreadnought, where they witnessed a realistic attack by torpedoes and submarines on the dreadnought. Afterwards off' Whale Island they witnessed an attack on the monster battleship by a squadron of ginboats, followed by the landing of bluejackets. Thence there weie taken through the naval docks and. repairing yards. Admiral Sir John Fisher, First Sea Lord, accompanied the journalists.
