For Waihou, Leonard (Captain) Bartles. Weir, and Joe Timmins fell in for the lion’s share of work. The former player being up to his true form, while the latter has developed into a first* class half, Of the forwards Comcrford, Arty Leonard, Bipi, and Ned Farrow were best. J ones played his usual good game on tbe wing. For Ta Aroha, 11. McSweeney, as fullback, has after Saturday’s display made a iname for himself. liis line kicking and fielding were splendid. Allison, Ellery, ami McPikc were called on to do a lot of defence work and they succeeded admirably. Collins and Smith on the wing are great acquisitions to the Blues team. Scott, Cribb, Honeybun and Millar (especially the two latter) shone out in the pack. MORRINSVILLE II v WAIOKONGOMAI 11. The nbovo match was played nil the Morrinsville ground on Saturday and was won by Morrinsville by (» points (2 tries) to 3 points (1 try). Mr H. Page gave every satisfaction as referee.
