WHOLESALE LICENSE FOR TE
AEOHA EEFUSED. At the Bay of Plenty licensing meeting renewals were granted in all cases.. Mi' Hill applied for a wholesale license for Te Aroha.—Mr Sharpe, who appeared iu support of the application, urged the necessity for the license, pointing out the growing population of the district, etc, Inspector Kiely obj acted to the license on the ground that Te Aroha was close to the Ohineinuri electorate, which had just carried no-license. Such being the case it would not bo fair that such a license bo granted, _ , The Bench briefly considered the matter and refused the application.
