The Admirality has recently pripted privately, and. circulated, Captain Bacon’s letter reflecting on Lieu-" tenant Bellair’s capability as an officer. This document was made public after Captain Bellair’s recent attacks upon the Admiralty. Reginald McKenna, First Lord of the Admiralty, who has been nightly heckled in the House of Commons on the action of the Admiralty, to-day apologised on behalf ofihimself and Admiral Sir John Fisher for the cir« culation oE the attack. *
