A Footballer’s Death
Oamar.it, May 21. An inquest was held to-day cut the body of t'homas Martin, who was taken suddenly ill while playing football yesterday and expired in the pavilion. A verdict was returned that death resulted from compression and hemorrago of tho brain, caused by misadventure while playing. The evidence showed that Martin injured one ear while playing a fortnight ago. Deceased belonged to Christchurch.
