Indecent Literature.
MORE ‘’TRUTH” CHARGES. Wellington, May 19. Six booksellers were charged at the Maglstaatcs Court, to- day, with selling copies of the Now Zealand Truth, alleged to contain matter of an indecent nature. Mr Riddells, S.M. said booksellers who stocked papers had reasonable oppoitunity of learning of their contents. Each defendant was fined fl. and costs varying from £1 lSs (id to £3 10s. John Thomas McKinnon, mauager of the paner, was similarly charged, and fined £\s and £i 9s costs on one charge, and £l, with £.‘i 4s costs on a second. Notice of appeal was givon,
