GOLDFIELDS’ CHALLENGE STARS. Another competition for the muchcoVeted Goldfields’ Challenge Stars was played at Paeroa on Saturday afternoon between Paeroa (holders) and Karangahake (challengers). The Karangahake quartette succeeded in appropriating the trophies, winning the by 21 to 9. The following were the teams Paeroa : J M. Coote, W. J. Towers W. McWatters, E. Bromwich (skip)
Karangahake : —R. Lloyd, H. Guthrie, L. Hilton and E. Jury (skip) 21. Te Aroha have a challenge in, and play Karangahake on Saturday next, when a good game should result-
