The Constantinople police confiscated the journal Hilal for publishing a violent article disp rting the Sultan’s title as Caliph, and citing circumstances of previous depositions of Sultans.

Though confident assurances are given in Constantinople that the Sultan wil. not be deposed, Enner Bey and other young Turkish leaders insist that he will.
