Police Court.

Before Messrs T. Gavin and Capt. Lyons Montgomery, Esqs., J’s.P.

On Wednesday, 21st April, the charges of theft against the four boys remanded from last Court was beard. Messis Clendon, Porritt and Gilchrist appeared for the offenders. The Justices decided to hear the case under the Juvenile Offenders’ Act and the Court was cleared of all except those who were interested. The aolicitora on behalf of their clients pleaded guilty and after hear ing them the Bench very severely admonished the boys and made them understand the trouble they had brought upon their parents. Arrangements were entered into by the parents on behalf of the boys. The cases were dismissed, costs and claims being paid.
