Social at Waiorongomai.

The social held in the Waiorongomai School on Friday evening proved a great success, about twenty couples being present. The music was supplied by Mrs Glover. Mr W. Beeson carried out the duties of M.C. in his very able manner. Refreshments were handed round about twelve o’clock and heartily partaken of, after which dancing was continued until two a.m. During the evening several songs were 'rendered by Mr and Miss George, Mr Glover and Mr Yarjlley. Mr Robinson run a coach out for the occasion returning after the dance. They hope to have another social in a few weeks’ time.
