Finger Prints.
A MURDERER ARRESTED
Sydney, April 2. According to the police Sinclair’s assailant has been recognised by his finger punts, as John Frederick Crook or Croke, a recent arrival from New Zealand. There are several convictions against him. Constable Gates, who showed such pluck and was so badly handled in arresting prisoner, is also a New Zealander. Constable Gates received immediate promotion as a reward for his bravery.
