Australian v. French Wines.
London, March 28. A request has been presented to Mr Taverner, Agent w General of Victoria, to take steps to safeguard the interests of Australian winemakers’ products, which carry a greater percentage of alcohol than French wines.
Mr Winston Churchill agreed to hear Australian objectors to France’s overtures. In the new treaty the French wines order facilitate the export to Britain of thin wines.
