Mr Hugh Mclntosh, promoter of the Burns-Squires and Burns-Johnson fights, interviewed at New York, said that if Jeffries can get into shape and will meet Jack Johnson, the coloured champion, he thought he could arrange a contest to take place either in England or France. If not then he will take the combat on in Australia.
