MORRINSVILLE v. WAIORONGOMAI.

Morrinsville, Monday. The local cricketers paid a return visit to Waiorongomai. on Saturday, and again suffered defeat by 31 runs, The home team batted very consistantly, no less than seven reaching double figures. •T. Young 20 being top scorer, W. Beeson 17, Tavl >r 15, Aitken 22, George 11, no* out, Y Beeson 10, and Donovan 10, all did well H. Humphries 0 wickets for 40 and Neels 3 w'ckels SO, bowled best. A. Humphries did good work behind the wickets, there being only two byes one of which was a big bye. Morrinsville started well making 55 for 3 wickets, but the remaining 7 wickets only added 17 runs. A. Humphries 20, H. Humphries 14 and A. Aitken 14 did well. McGruer 4 wickets- for .7, and George 3 for 10 bowled well. The ladies provided excellent afternoon tea which was greatly enjoyed.
