Accident at Waihi

MINER SERIOUSLY INJURED Waihi, Yesterday. Joseph Heame, a single man working in the Waihi mine for McFarlane’s party of contractors, fell down a quartz pass, seventy feet deep tMs morning. He received serious injuries, particularly to the back. He was removed to the hospital in an ambulance. The victim is in a precarious condition An examination at the hospital showed he had sustained severe concussion of the spine, a scalp wound and general bruises.
