King and Queen's Return
A GREAT RECEPTION London, February 14. King Edward and QueEn Alexandra have returned to London. They' were welcomed back home crowds, from whom their Majesties received a great ovation. It is officially stated that Kmg Edward, who suffered from a cold on leaving England, is now decidedly better.
Berlin, February 14. The Kaiser, in thanking the Burgomaster of Berlin for the arrangements of .the visit, declares the citizens of Beilin substantially contributed in making -Edward’s stay pleasant and joyous and betokened the earnest desire on the part of the German p- ople to cultivate and strengthen the friendly relations with the kiudri d nation. London, February 14. Reuter’s Berlin correspondent reports that Prince Buelow. Chancellor oi the Empire is optimistic as to the results of the visit, and hopes that the public opinion of both countries will follow the example of honest pacific aims and that a sincere and reciprocal understanding may be arrived at by rulers and statesmen on both sides.
