RAILWAY EMPLOYEES i DESPERATE ATTEMPT. Nelson, February 3. The police received news this morning that a man named McDonald supposed to be employed in the Railway Extension Works, jumped out of the window of his hotel or accommodation house in Motueka Valley, picked up a piece of glass and cut his thrort. He is being brought to town. Dr Hudson thinks he may recover.
