MINING.

THE SUCCESS MINE. After having done a lot of work on his claim single-handed Mr Jansen, of the Success Claim, seems likely to meet with the success which we should like to see him achieve. He paid a visit te The Thames School of Mines last Monday, Ist February, with some sampies which he submitted to the Director for subjection to acid tests. The test was successful, proving that the samples were suitable for treatment by the Cyaniie process. Mr Jansen proposes to have a small parcel of a few tons treated at the Thames School of Mines, by the Cyanide process. We hope that it may turn out even better than he expects.
