Sir, —Can you inform me if the Mr Spooner who spoke in such strong language against liquor at a recent Show Committee meeting, is the same individual who was touting (and I balieve acting as secretary) for the breweis and publicans during the recent elections ? Please let me know, 'you know.—l am, etc., ShiftyWaihou, 21st January, 1908[We do not know in what particular capacity the individual referred to acted during the recent elections. —Ed. News.]
