The Borough Council has received % notice from the. local manager of the A National Bank that he has been inslructed by headquarters to demand an immediate reduction of overdraft (which amounts to £25,000) by £5,000. This renders the borough account with the bank inoperative until the amount is paid. . A special meeting of the Council is tf be held this afternoon. * I
