The Haines Shooting Episode.

New yokk, January 17. Thornton Haines, who in August last held back a crowd at the muzzle of his revolver wbi'e his brother, Captain Haines, fired six shots at William Armis, New York, publisher, whom the latter accused of dishonouring his wife, has been acquitted at Flushing ou a charge of being accessory before the fact. Captain Haines is now awating trial.
