The Rev J. E. Adams, of Hamilton, who has acted as Home Missionary of the Hamilton Presbyterian Church during the past seven years, was recently licensed by the Waikato Presbytery. The Hamilton congregation, wishing to retain Mr Adams, invited him to accept the position of minister of the charge. This invitation Mr Adams accepted at a special meeting of the Presbytery held on January 12. The ordination and induction ceremony will take place in St. Andrew’s Church, Hamilton, at 7.30 p.m., Tuesday, February 2.
