On Saturday afternoon the local given was kept fairly busy, most of the rinks being in use. The challengers for the ‘‘Cock o’ the Walk Badges,” Messrs Gahagan, Hubbard, Dalton and McGirr (skip), R; failed to deprive the holders of their trophies, Messrs Stanley (substitute), Salmon, Sherlock and Mclnman (skip) 31.

A representative team contemplate visiting Paeroa on the 29th inst.
