The Late President Faure.
WAS HE POISONED.
Paris, November 29. Several Paris newspapers calling to remembrance the fact that President Felix Faure was alone with Madame Steinheil when he died suddenly on February 16th, 1899, presumably from an apopletic seizure, speculate whether she poisoned him by concealing cyamde of potassium in his cigar. The Magistrate charged -with the investigation of the circumstances surrounding the murder of Steinheil, and Madame Japy, mother of Madame Steinheil, has ordered the exhumation of the bodies, so that an analysis may be made to dis ■ cover whether they were drugged before being murdered.
