Golf Champions.
London November 22. G. Duncan and C. H. Mayo defeated 11. Vardon and E. Ray in golf for the sum of £2OO at Sandwich links, by six up and flue to play. [Last year Vardon, four times the world’s champion was partnered, by James Braid, three times champion, and the pair beat Duncan and Mayo by 9 up and 8 to play over a course of 72 holes. —Ed.]
