MATAMATA.
Mr Herries was accorded a very enthusiastic reception at Matairata last Tuesday evening, when Mr Banks occupied the chair. The candidate received the sympathetic attention of of his listeners, and at the close an enthusiastic vote of thanks for past services, and confidence the future, was accorded Mr Herries.
