The Wallace Bowls brought forth [uite a number of aspirants, the first, players to meet are :—Jansen v. Thatcher, Holland v, Hubbard, C’rickett v Gahagan, McKee v. Spooner, Burton v. Morrison, McGirr v. Dickson. Mxingay a bye. Burton v. Filling, Somers v. Mickle, Croslier v. Eyre, Sher ock v. Kenny, Salmon v. Mclnman, Raynor v. H. A. Harris. M Cartney a bye. At le ist two games must be played off each .week. An interesting pairs took place on tiie local green yesterday between Messrs Williams and Meßobbie (Waihi) v. Somers and Diltoii (Te \roha). The Te Ar/ua pair winning 26—30.
