Austrian Situation.
Bflgradt. October 3. Excited crowds beseiged the approaches to Parliamentary buildings to-day, prior to an extraordinary sitting of the Skuptschina, convened by reason of present international situation. Excitement was caused by apprehensions that Austria intended to seize Belgrade. The Servian iGovernment, in order io reassure the public, sent strong military patrols to the Danube and Saine rivers, and ako to the outskirts of the city". St. Petersburg, November 3. It is reported in St. Petersburg that the Crown Prince of Servia has carried to Belgrade the Czar’s letter informing King Peter that Russia has reaffirmed her sympathy with southern Slavs assuring him that Russia’s efforts will be directed towards tranquillising the situation by pacific means.
