BOWLING.
A meeting of the Committee of the Te Aroha Bowling Club was held |n the Tourist Office on Tuesday evening last, when there were present :—Messrs D. McL. Wallace, President (in the chair), G. F. McGirr, it. L. Somers, G. Sherlock, 0. F. Spooner, J. Main gay, and W. McInman (Secretary). The usual routine business was transacted. New members were approved of as follows :—Messrs McCartney, H. A. Harris, W. Brodie, J. McSweeney, T. Donovan, H. Whitehead, and L. Boles. The secretary was instructed to forward circulars to all members containing needful information. The President reminded members that the Karangahake Green would be officially opened on the 18th inst. It was decided to try and arrange inter-club matches at Te Aroha on 21st November and sth and 19th December. Also to try and arrange an inter-Club match with Hamilton at Hamilton on Boxing Day. It i was decided that the Match Committee meet on Saturday evening next.
