IN pursuance of “ The Legislature Act, 1908.” I, THOMAS HARTLY, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Tauranga, do hereby give notice hat, by virtue of a writ bearing date the 31st. day of October, 1908, under the hand cf the Clerk of the Writs, an election will be held for the return of a qualified verson to 6erve as member fcr the said district ; and that the latest dtiy for receiving nominations of candidates will be the 9th day of November, 1908 ; | and that the poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several polling-places of the sail district on the 17th day of November. 1908. THOMAS HARTLY, Returning Officer for tho Tauranga Licensing District, do hereby give notice that on the 17th Day of November, 1908, the day appointed for taking the Electoral Poll of the electors of the Electoral District of Tauranga, simultaneously therewith, at the same time and p'act, a Licensing Poll will be taken upon the following proposals : (1) Whether the number of Licenses existing in the die* trict IS TO CONTINUE. (2) Whether the number of Licenses ♦ xisting in the district IS TO BE REDUCED, (3) Whether NO-LI CENSES is to be granted in the district.
