MORRINSVILLE

The final rooial evening under the management of the Entertainment Society, was held an Friday night, and proved a mi st enjoyable idance. There were thirty-five 3‘es present, and the floor waa in splendid tion, the musio, which was supplied by theTe Aroha trio, contributed to make it one (of the successes of the st ason. The catering was in the hands of Messrs Gummer ; and many complimentaiy remarks were heard on the excellence of the supper provided. The bunting and decoiations iwhich were neatly displayed had a most pleasing effectExtras were played by Mrs Brayshaw nnd Miss Stewart. During the evening the president, Mr F. J. Marshall, on behalf of the society, thanked all for their assistance during the season, and stated that as soon as the committee oould settle up affairs, they would call a general meeting of members. The Ladies’ Committee deserve credit for the success of their arrangements, Miss Stewart, as usual made a capable secretary, while Mr Brayshaw as M. C., kept the dances well up to time. The workmen in connection with the long looked for telej hone, have staited operations, so ere long we will be able to hold conversation with friends in Te Aroha, without having to trust to the vagaries of the “ Wild Cat ” and a cold train ride.
