An Attempt at Smuggling.
GUNS, BAYONETS, AND SWORDS INTO INDIA. Calcutta, September 27. Ca> cutta Customs Officials discovered an attempt made by Bengales to smuggle German guns, bayonets, and swords into India. The Aveapons Avere invoiced, in an attempt to secure their safe passage through Customs, as steel goods.
