Morrinsville Town Board Election
The election of seven members of the Town Board took place on Wednesday, when the ratepayers showed their confidence in the retiring members by re-elect-ing them with the addition of Mr J. M. Clifford in place of Mr Gummer who did not stand. The following is the result of the voting : S. S. Allen .. .. 44 C. Manuel .. .. 43 H. J. Clifford .. .. 38 F. J. Marshall .. 38 J. M. Clifford .. ..35 W. C. Pickett .. .. 29 S C. Parlour .. .. 29 G, W. Brayshaw . .. 20 G- F. Oates .. .. 11 T. Reed .. .. 9
There was a fair muster when the poll was declared, but the excitement was soon over.
