New Bowling Green.

On Tuesday the Te Aroha Bowling Club received a telegram from the Tourist Department to the effect that Dr. Kenny recommends work undertaken in February, and that the head gardener, Rotorua, advises if work is started at once, it would be ready to play on in January next, and asking the Club’s opiniop. The Clnb wired recommending that the green be opened early in October and closed in February, and work proceeded with; which they consider is the much better plan of the two.
