To the Editor.
Sib, —I notice that the Te Aroha carpenters are allowed considerable latitude when carrying out their work ; to wit, blocking up the footpath with timber and saw-hdrses, and also leaving the footpath blocked while away at lunch. Are pedestrians to take the road—at times very muddy—while the carpenters use the footpath for a timber yard and workshop ?—I am, etc., Pedestrian.
