Te Aroha District Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd.
The Secretary for the above Couqany (Mr Fred. Wild) has received the following letter from Messrs Mills and Sparrow, the company’s London agents :—“ We were very pleased to have a visit from Mr Thomas Stanley of your district, so as to shake hands on the spot with one who was so interested in the brand. Curiously enough, we had just received the shipment by the s.s. Turakina, when he called, and he was able to see a box opened, on our floor. The quality was all right, and we think you will be pleased with the price which we have been able to obtain for these.
We are always very pleased to see anyone from New Zealand, particularly anyone interested in the dairy trade, because we feel that there is nothing like our getting closer together where we are doing business ; the more we see of each other, and men like Mr Stanley the better it is for all concerned. They realise a little better perhaps, some of the difficulties we have at this end. On the other hand, we can realise after a little talk some of the difficulties which he as a supplier has from the labour point of view, etc.”
