Druids’ Annual Ball.

On Wednesday next, September 9, the members of the local Druids’ Lodge hold their annual ball in the Public Hall, which promises to be a great success. No stone is being left unturned to cater for the wants of those priviledged to be present. The best of music, a good floor and a recherche supper is promised. The torch-light procession, headed by the Band and Fire Brigade, in which the famous lady Druid, *• Boadicea,” will take a prominent part, will be worth travelling miles to see. The Druids do not carry Aout their functions in a half-hearted sort of way, as has been proved in the past, and the ball on Wednesday next will be no exception to the rule. The tickets are reasonable and may be had from the Secretary (Mr R. C. Willis), or any member of the Committee.
