This senior rep. match was played at Paeroa and resulted in a win for Piako < y live points to three. Percy scored a try for Piako which A If. Lcnmird converted into a goal. MATCH AGAINST AUCKLAND.
VISITORS DEFEATED. > * AUCJtiAND, July 18. The Anglo-British footballers met the Auckland team at Alexandra Park, glorious weather conditions prevaiung. Some 20,000 spectators attended, stand accommodation being provided for 14,000. The ground .was dryandtner game was fast and fairly mtesestmg. Britain was without the service of several of their " cracks ” through injuries. The final score was Auckland ii points, Britain nil. ?
