Phil Walsh Company.
At Public Hall on Saturday next, the inst., Mr Phil Walsh and Company will present the great and well favoured Irish Drama “Coon the Shaughraun.” Mr Walsh and his talented company, on their last visit to Te Aroha, created such a good impression on the theatre-goers that this visit will prove that a good and well organized Theatrical Company may always be sure of a good reception in Te Aroha. “ Conn the I Shaughraun ” has been played by Mr Walsh in most all parts of the globe, and press notices to hand speak highly of the production in the northern towns of New Zealand. The Company is strong with talented artists, and is headed by Miss Eva Marius-Paigne, a young artist who is rapidly making a brilliant name in the profession. New scenery and accessories for the play will add greatly to the evening’s enjoyment. Mr Walsh will donate 10 per cent, of the gross takings on Saturday night to the Te Aroha Band Fund. Such good intentions will meet with the approval of the residents of Te Aroha. 1 3 1 < 1
