Heavy draughts sold at from £25 to £3B 15s; medium do., £2l to £33 ; hacks and light harness horses, £9 10s to £l6; weeds, £2 17s 6d to £6 os ; spring cart, £11 ; cart and harness, £l6. . At Papakura on Wednesday we had a full yarding of dairy and fat stock, but scarcely’ as many stores as usual. The advertised dairy of Mr J. E. McKenzie, Cleyedon, sold under keen competition'. Cows to calve in August and September brought from £4 5s to £7 ss; bull, £5 ,5s ; daily*, cows, from £3 10s to £9; do., heifor, £3*7s 6d to £6 10s; empty cows, £2 10s to £4 ; two to three-year-old steers, £2 to £5 ss; yearlings, £1 15s to £2 calves, 18s to £1 15s. Beef sold at Newmarket rates. The advertised store ewes realised from 7s 9d to I4p[ 6ri Cattle : At the Newmarket yards on Tuesday dairy. and store stock were in average numbers, with a full eupply of beef. Dairy cows sold at from £4. lOs to £10; store do., £2 5s to £3 2s 6d; calves, 17s to £1 Bs. The beef

Sheep were penned in full numbers at ( Newmarket on Tuesday and sold at late rates, wethers realising from lls to £1 Is 6dp ewes, lls 3d to 17s 9d ; hoggets, 9s 63 to 16s.
Kgs:—Porkers realised from £1 Is to £1 18s;. jveaners, 7b 6d to 15s; baconers, £2 10s to £3 6s. The advertised Angora goats sold as follows Pure-bred nannies, £1 7s 6d to £3 3s ; half-bred nannies, 8s to £1 Is; pure bred billies, up to £2 2s. We submitted an average catalogue of hides, skins and tallow. Sheepskins : Market firm. Bestbutcheis skins, Is 7d.tp 2s; good, Is 2d to Is 5d ; small, 9d to Is. Tallow : Market firm. Best mixed, up , fco £22 fid ; good, 208lto 21s fid ; inferior, i 17s to 198 fid ; rough fat, l|d to per lb.

Maize: Market still overstocked with Sydney, Value is 4s 6d on wharf. Butter: Best separator, lOd to 101 d ; medium, 9d; poor, 8d to S£d. Cheese : Farmers’, in better demand at 4Jd to s£d. Fungus is worth sd. Oats: Slow of sale at 2s 9Jd c.i,f. wholesale lines.
