Notice is hereby given that the Te Aroha Borough Council will, at the ordinary meeting of the Council, to he held at the Council Office, situate in Boundary Street, Te Aroha, on WEDNESDAY, 24th day of June, 1908, at 7 30 p.m., make and levy the following rates for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1908, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1909: _ | A General Rate under “ The Rating ! Act, 1894,” and Section 95 of ‘‘The! Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” of ] One Shilling and Sixpence in the £ on the rateable value on the Valuation Roll of all rateable property within the Borough of Te Aroha on the basis of the annual value. A separate (Water) Rate under Sec. 102 of “ The Municipal Corporation Act, 1900 ” of sevenpence in the £ for ordinary domestic supply (with a minimum rate of 10s) and such rates for extraordinary supply as are fixed from time to time by the Council. Also that the above rates will be payable in one sum to the Town Qlerk, at the Council Office, Boundary Street, Te Aroha, on the Ist day of July, 1908. Lawcock’s Bridge; Carroll’s Bridge, Creamery Bridge; Brook’s Bridge ; Maisey’s Bridge ; Roche’s Bridge; Rusbbrook’s Culvert ; McNicol’s Flat Bridge; McNicol’s No. 2 Bridge; McNicol’s No. 3 Bridge; Waiorongomai Creek Bridge ; Waiorongomai Hill Bridge, Collins’ Culvert, and Murphy’s Bridge. And on such poll the number of votes recorded for and against the proposal were ; —For the Proposal, 19 votes; against the Proposal 18 votes. ■
