MORRINSVILLE v. WAIHOU

The Hockey Match played here on Saturday afternoon between the Waihou and Morrinsville Ladies’ Hockey Clubs, resulted in a win for the former after a close game, by one goal to nil. There were a good number of spectators present, who watched the play with keen interest. The afternoon tea provided by the local club received every attention, being much appreciated. The visitors returned by the late train having much enjoyed their outing. Miss scored for Waihou, and Mr Bryers as referee controlled the game in a capable manner.
