Is 6d and 2s 6d, George Andrews, Rochester, Vic. writes :—“ My occupation of a rabbit trapper obliges me to be out at night attending to the traps, and while so doing I contracted a severe cold. After trying other cough mixtures on the market, I was recommended to give Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy a trial. It gave me immediate relief, and three bottles completely cured me. I can with every confidence recommend Chain. berlain’s Cough Remedy to anybody having a cough or cold." For sale by J. B. Johnson, Agent.

pUBUO HALL, TE AROHA. FRIDAY, MAY 15 Phil. Walsh AND HIS Complete Dramatic Company INCLUDING Miss EVA MARCIUS PAYNE. In the beautiful dramatic drama in lour acts “ Wedded, bit No Wile.” 119 TE AEOHA GYMNASTIC AND SOCIAL CLUB For many years past those interested in the social well-being of the younr men ol Te Aroha have been anxious that there should be a YOUNG MEN’S CLUB, where young menofTe Aroha would be able to spend iheir evenings when they feel disposed to do so. It iB felt that such an institution to be of use should be open every week night. A debating society, meeting once a week or Once a fortnight, has been tried, and found to be unattractive except to a very few. It is thought that the time has now come to establish a club, and that as a beginning a small cottage should be leased for the winter months in which games and literature should be provided, and tea and coffee, etc,, be had. The cost of this venture is estimated at £2O, and we confidently appeal to the public to further this excellent object by supplying the necessary funds. It is proposed to run the Social Club in connection with the Gymnastic Club, so that one subscription of 5s per annum will admit to both Clubs.

[Donations and subscriptions will be received until May 30, by the Editors of the local papers or by the undersigned, B. L. SOMERS, Mayor. P. GILCHRIST. T, MoINDOE. May 11, 1908. W
