Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 8 of The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901, that it is proposed by the Piako County Council to borrow from the Colonial Teasurer under Part H. of the said Act, a special loan for the construction, reinstatement, and re building of Bridges in the Waitoa Riding of the Piako County, viz., Waiwera Bridge, Thomas' Road Bridge, Poplar Bridge, Humphries Bridges Motumaoho Bridge, Page’s Culvert, Horrell’s Bridge, Tauhei Road Bridges and Culverts, Bridgman’s Bridge, Gubbins Bridge, Lands, downe Road Bridge, Walton Bridge, Cochrane’s Road Bridge, Johnson’s Creek Bridge, .Rowe’s Bridge, Baine’s Pit Culvert, Franklin’s j Bridge, Baker’s Road Bridge, Waghorn’sßoad Bridge, McFarlane’s Bridge, Diagonal Road Bridges (2), Lockyer’s Bridge, McCabe’s Road Bridge, ELiwitahi Bridge, and Kereone Bridge. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £5,000, and the proposed security for the loan is a special annual recurring rate for thirty two years of one-tenth penny per pound upon the capital value of the rateable property in the said Waitoa Riding of the Piako County. Such will provide interest at four per cent per annum, which being paid for the period aforesaid pays off the loan and is the provision for repayment thereof.
