Five todays -later prices declined another 5s and; on February 28, the market again collapsed, the price falling to 120 s. .By March 3 a further decline was recorded, the current price on that date being from 116 s to 120 s, and ten days, later the quotation was bj 116 sto ll'Ss. A week later 114 s ■ was reached, and' this-figure was maintained for about a couple of weeks. A cablegram from London ‘ ?U -4pril 6, gave values at Ills. v wßonsy consolation to NeW Zealand is that the produce of olifjer countries has suffered a similar Vdjcline, and it is noted that Danish ibutter which usually commands a better price than the colonial article, is now placed on an equality with ‘ the produce from this Dominion.— Lyttelton Times.
