PURE MILK.
Wende says it must be accepted .that milk is a source of transmission of bovine tuberculosis, particularly in early life. He grades dairies into three, classes, and describes the handling of the milk from it's source to-the consumer. He criticises the ' State supervision and describes the methods of. the Health Board of Buffalo. He. demands a stricter supervision and control by the State; a dairy, standard and a license and permit system; the evolution of the standard grade large individual ice ... producer and the extinction of the small menacing contributer; the dairy to be a preparer an 4 not a mere producer; the adoption of refrigerator cars and cooling chests; the- city ipilk-dealer to be a contributor, not a manipulator; abolition of milk cans and adoption of single service paper containers for direct consumption from udder to mouth. The container can be made an educator by labelling it with pertinent facts.
