Sheldon’s Music and Dramatic Company.
Our readers will not need reminding that the -Public Hall, to-night will be occupied by the Sheldon Mimical and Dramatic Company, who have come fresh from the South where they have been playing to bumper houses, and the “ Press ” in the leading towns in which they have appeared speak very highly of them ; wo also notice by exchanges they have been very successful in pleasing the theatre patronisers in the Auckland province, and given fair weather we expect to sec the ball well filled this evening. The Company will produce an entirely new and sensational drama, illustrative of Loudon life in all its varied phases, entitled “A Vagabond’s Daughter.” The programme to bo submitted is of a very novel character, and entirely differ ent from any ever played before a Te Aroha audience, as musical interludes are given during the evening. Popular prices are to be charged, a special concession beins: made to ladies who are admitted to all parts of the hall for one shilling, while the admission for children is fixed at sixpence.
